Our Story
At Topeca Coffee Roasters, our journey began in 1850 when Santiago Diaz-Caceras moved to El Salvador with his coffee expertise. Six generations later, his family of coffee growers thrives on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano.
In 2001, when the global coffee market crashed, Margarita Lucia Diaz took action to save her family's coffee business. She sought help from her son Emilio Lopez and son-in-law John Gaberino. Together, they revolutionized the industry by eliminating middlemen and bringing the coffee directly to the customer.
Today, we continue to uphold this vision of creating a sustainable supply chain for coffee. Our goal is to ensure that everyone involved, from growers to consumers, can thrive. Despite challenges, we remain dedicated to constant improvement and implementing practices that shape a better future.
