Shipping policy

We roast coffees daily, Monday-Friday, and aim to fulfill orders with roasts that are between 1-7 days off roast, so that when delivered have had a chance to degas and is prime for brewing. Please allow us up to 2 business days to roast, package, and ship your order.

  • Friday-Saturday orders - Process/Ship Monday**
  • Sunday-Monday (4pm CST cutoff) orders - Process/Ship Tuesday**
  • Tuesday-Thursday (4pm CST cutoff) orders - Process/Ship following day**

**USPS orders may see an additional day of processing time before being shipped due to early pick-up time on USPS's local route. UPS Ground orders typically ship out on the day processed. 

 

Please note, most orders under 4lbs are shipped via USPS Priority unless you specifically purchase UPS Ground option at checkout. USPS First Class transit times are estimated at 1-5 days and Priority transit times are estimated at 1-3 days depending on location, USPS does NOT guarantee these transit times. UPS Ground is guaranteed to arrive within 1-5 business days from pickup date.

 

Once your package is in the hands of the mail carrier, we unfortunately have no control over how quickly it will get to you. Please be aware there are many conditions that can delay mail times, such as weather, road conditions, holidays, and truck and labor shortages. These are beyond our control, and therefore we cannot guarantee shipping times. If you experience an issue with your shipment please contact the carrier first. If you are unable to get satisfactory assistance, we are happy to help you get it resolved as quickly as possible. We now offer Route Package Protection at checkout. Route covers your order in the event of a lost, stolen, or damaged package for a nominal fee.

 

Freshness

 

We recommend giving your whole beans at least 5-7 days to degas before brewing for optimal flavor. Our coffee is packaged and sealed directly after roasting to preserve its freshness. Peak freshness is enjoyed when brewing coffee 5-30 days from roast date, though our packaging keeps coffee reasonably fresh for up to several months as long as it's stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. It's best to enjoy your coffee within 2-3 weeks after opening the package.
