Every year as fall sets in we get to work on creating a new and exciting holiday blend to share with our community. This year will be a bit different and all the more exciting, as we are partnering with the Tulsa Ballet to release a blend that coincides with their performance of an old classic, The Nutcracker! Crafting a blend that lives up to this famous piece by Tchaikovsky is no easy feat, but one we’re prepared to take on.

This year’s blend will be composed of excellent coffees from origins around the globe that aim to encompass all of the flavors one would expect in a holiday themed blend. We’ll be using a healthy dose of our staple Laboyano washed coffee from the Pitalito station in Colombia, a dash of a natural processed from the Ribang Gayo Musara cooperative from Aceh, Sumatra and a splash of wild and boozy fruit-dried coffee from the Kindeng mill of Papua New Guinea. Roasted to the cusp of medium to dark, this coffee will be perfectly robust if brewed on its own, and remain an excellent candidate for mixing with your favorite coffee creamer or spirit. We doubt there will be snow by the time this coffee lands, but regardless, have a cup of cheer!

The Nutcracker Blend has a heavy chocolatey texture, with notes of a boozy mulled wine, rich rum cake, and a smooth, rich toffee finish. Cheers to an excellent holiday season ahead!
