In 2017 we invested in partnership in a small farm and mill just outside of Espírito Santo do Pinhal in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The farm, Fazenda Santana, sits at about 900 meters above sea level, is planted with mostly yellow bourbon. It has a state of the art wet-mill on the farm, which controls the quality of processing to a much higher standard then a typical Brazilian farm. The result is simply good coffee. We use this as the backbone to many of our popular blends. Standalone it offers a mild, sweet, and creamy cup. A great everyday coffee.
