Since Topeca’s founding over two decades ago, we have made it our goal to source the vast majority of our coffee from the Lopez-Diaz farms in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador. We have been fortunate enough to grow and secure a market for these excellent coffees and to provide a consistent product to our community year after year. So to celebrate our work with Finca El Manzano and the hardworking folks who make these coffees possible, for the month of February, we will be bringing back one of our time honored classics, and a coffee that has been a part of our lineup since day one.
As the sixth generation of the Lopez-Diaz family to take the helm at El Manzano, Emilio Lopez-Diaz has become a huge figure in the Salvadoran coffee producing community. His stewardship over the coffee farms in his care is remarkable to witness and his ambition has secured reliable work and pay for dozens of people in the Santa Ana region. This natural process coffee is a blend of several classic Salvadoran cultivars grown at an elevation of 1200 masl on the lush slopes of the Santa Ana volcano and will be sure to impress those who love a smooth fruit-forward cup of coffee. As we embark on another year of growth, change, and excellent coffee, we are excited to honor our roots and to offer this one of a kind fruit dried natural coffee from the farm that started it all. Snag a top box this month so you can try this coffee on its own as well as a couple of our staple espresso blends where this coffee plays a prominent role in adding a burst of fruity notes and superb texture!
This is a truly exquisite coffee, and one that has long been a component of our Signature Espresso Blend. Available for a limited time, this fruity natural has notes of strawberry, melon with a smooth, velvety almond milk texture.
