This is a two-day class designed to equip new coffee professionals with basic knowledge on where coffee comes from, how to brew it, how to build a menu and take care of all the equipment in a cafe. This counts as SCA combo classes Intro to Coffee and Barista Foundations if you would like to take additional testing and pay the certification fee.
Topeca baristas are required to take this class upon hire, and wholesale partners who use espresso machines use this as an introductory class as well.
