We typically reserve this coffee as the secret (well not so secret now) ingredient to our Signature Espresso Blend and Porch Session. But each year we like run it on it’s own in the beginning of Spring for a month or two. But this year we purchased enough to run it even longer. This is the most awarded coffee from our farm, Finca el Manzano. For the past decade this coffee has been used by a handful of national and world Barista Champions, and there’s good reason why…it’s freakin’ delicious.
Our fruit dried coffees from el Manzano start with fully ripe, fresh harvest cherries. Diligent hand sorting is done before the cherry gets to the wet mill to ensure all fruit that gets dried for this process is of prime-ripeness for maximum sweetness in the cup.
This coffee is lightly roasted to bring out the coffee’s natural sweetness, acidity and fruit flavor.
