A playful blend of rich chocolaty Brazilian coffee from our partner farm Santana, and a healthy dose of fruity sweet Ethiopian natural from Guji. We've named this blend in memory of Tulsa's once beloved wooden roller coaster, which used to thrill and delight so many over 2 generations until Bell's Amusement Park's ultimate and unfair demise in 2006. We hope, in some small way, this espresso blend with its bright fruity flavors and smooth chocolaty sweetness will bring the same sense of excitement to those who drink it for at least as long as the Zingo did.

Brew Parameters

there are many variables to consider when preparing espresso, differences in water chemistry, temperature, and pressure can effect the taste dramatically. These are the parameters we use in our shop with our water and equipment and should provide a good starting point at home:

Dose: 19 g

Espresso: 40 g

Time: 26-30 seconds

Don't own a grinder? Don't own a good grinder? Not a problem, let us expertly grind the coffee for you depending on the method with which you brew. We roast, grind and package your coffee to order, so it gets to you just a few days after roasting. We do recommend to consume pre-ground coffee within 2 weeks after opening to experience maximum freshness of flavor.

Espresso (Fine) - best for home espresso machines, moka pot and some Aeropress recipes

Pour Over (Med-Fine) - best for single cup pour over methods with 2-3 min brew times: V60, Kalita, Malita, Clever, etc

Drip (Medium) - best for auto-drip makers and larger pour overs with 4-6 min brew times such as Chemex

French Press (Med-Coarse) - best for French press and cold brew methods.
