In an attempt to spread a little Christmas cheer, we thought we’d create an extra special blend for you to commemorate the holiday this year. This very limited single batch release is a blend of a fruit-dried Gesha variety grown on our family farm in El Salvador, a very unique Brazilian Yellow Bourbon from our friend Diogo Dias and Fazenda Recreio, and a AA grade Kenyan SL-34.
The roast profile here is developed to accentuate both sweetness and body. We’ve taken the roast just to point where the fruit flavors and acidity are balanced with a just the right amount of roast flavors and bittersweet undertones. We like to think of this blend as our take on the ye old fruit cake, or Tiny Tim’s figgy pudding. You’ll get lots of dried fruit in the aroma and up front on the palate, followed by caramel, chocolate, and brown spices.
