Weekly Cuppings

Want to taste the many coffees Topeca has to offer? We cup daily, every batch that we roast to insure quality and consistency. Stop by the Topeca Roastery on Fridays at 10am and jump in on the cupping table along side Q Cupper Ian Picco. This is free and open to the public. Can’t beat that.

We have two proprietary locations where we serve our coffee. One is at the Mayo Hotel and the other is located at the Hyatt Hotel. Each location provides our freshly roasted beans, merchandise, drinks, and food.

Kenya Peaberry Ichamama
Origin: Kenya, Masai Mara
Varietal: Peaberry
Process: Washed, bed-dried
Altitude: 1750 meters
Description: Simply put, this coffee is bomb! Very similar flavor profile to the Kenyan AA, only amplified. Sweet stewed tomato aroma, candied lemon peel and a hint of basil on the palate. Everything about this coffee is big...well, except the bean itself. Big aroma, big flavors, big body. Not for the faint of heart.

Nigusse Lemme Limu
Origin: Dura Mts, Limu, Ethiopia
Varietal: Heirloom
Process: Natural, dried on raised beds
Description: This naturally processed coffee was sun dried on raised beds, and features a magnificent tart acidity along with its rich fruity sweetness. It offers a bouquet of mixed berry aromas, tart blueberry acidity, and a chocolaty body with flavors of dried fig and sweet cherry pipe tobacco
